BLC has been in Windom school since 2010. BLC offers a variety of cultural enrichment programs. Welcome, safe and inclusive before and after school program. Please check the catalog for more information.
BLC at Windom is located in the Media Center. Drop-off and pick-up are at door 8 (off the back parking lot). After school students come directly to our program from their classrooms.
We have four different sessions throughout the school year: Fall (August – December), Winter (January – March), Spring (April after Spring Break – June) and Spanish Summer Camp (June- July).
BLC’s staff is bilingual and bicultural and has extensive experience working with elementary school students in diverse populations. BLC strives to help and support not only students, but the entire community by offering parent and family workshops during the year. Diversity is celebrated and valued at BLC and it prepares our students for lives of social responsibility, active citizenship and academic achievement.
The goal of the science class is to present STEM and to encourage students to see science as something more accessible to them through experiments and activities. These activities will vary from in class activities to projects that they can share with you at home.
